Will stared out his window, absentmindedly scratching his arms. He had finished the augmentation around one in the morning, and slept restlessly for a while before deciding it was futile. He looked at his now red arms, still not believing that he was forced into the surgery, but his skin didn't feel right. Sighing, he got up and walked out of his room and wandered down the halls.

Jack mumbled something to Daniel, then nudged him with his elbow to catch his attention. "You our new guy?"

Will jumped and took a step back. "Umm, yeah." He glanced around, "Who are you?"

"Jack Grissom. I'm Harbinger Lead, and the oldest clone here. I'm 7." Jack eyed Will and laughed. "Can't say you're much older than that, either."

"Hey!" He cried, mildly distressed, "I'm thirteen, a lot older than seven..." He snickered.

"Thirteen?" Jack grunted. "So instead of robbing the cradle, they're robbing the nursery. How'd they get you in Harbinger?"

Will smiled smugly. "I solved a murder case from almost 50 years ago. I got an award then the next thing I knew, I was here."

Jack shot a look at Daniel. "You solved that? You're the one that solved the trap? They're...quite desperate then."

Will stared at Jack. "...What do you mean?"

"Desperate doesn't quite cut it. But geeze, kids these days. You'd think they'd have a little bit more pride in serving the government." Daniel grunted, displeased at the lack of enthusiasm.
